Paindong Union is located in the north-central part of Fatikchhari upazila. The distance of this union from Upazila Sadar is about 6 kilometers. It is bounded on the east by Kanchannagar Union, on the south by Fatikchhari Municipality and Sundarpur Union, on the west by Harualchhari Union and Bhujpur Union and on the north by Manikchhari Union of Manikchhari Upazila of Khagrachhari District.
